MEET CHAITALI MARDE

Chaitali Marde, MS

Certified Yoga Teacher, Mindfulness Instructor , Nutrition Counselor and Certified Personal Trainer

Hi, my name is Chaitali Marde, I have completed my master’s in Nutrition Education and Yoga teacher training. I started out as a nutrition educator for the school district. Yoga was a forgotten tool which came up again in my life after a health scare of a personal nature. For the past 8 years I have been teaching adults and children’s yoga and doing nutrition consultations. Understanding the need for strength training I completed my National Association of Sports Medicine certification. In the year 2022 and 2023 I got an opportunity to complete a Mindfulness Teacher Training program from the Mindfulness Training Institute in San Francisco. Meditation has helped me stay grounded and present ; now after completing the training I have the tools to teach this profound practice.

I believe everybody’s body is different and no two individuals can do an exercise, eat food or practice mindfulness in the same way. You do not have to give up a certain food or curb your craving for sweets. And you definitely do not have to spend hours in a gym to take care of your health. Similarly, meditation practice does not always include sitting on the floor. I believe your responsibilities and needs make your health needs unique for you. And there is a way to enjoy this supremely agreeable condition called life while taking care of that!
